Both Yasuo & Yone are getting buffed in the upcoming patch.
The patch preview for the upcoming Patch 14.20 has been released and it seems players are not too happy about it. The patch has tons of buffs and nerfs to items, runes, and champions, which most people agree with. However, the changes many are worried about are the Yasuo and Yone buffs.
Yasuo and Yone are probably two of the most annoying champions to face according to many players. Due to their high mobility and insane amount of damage output, they tend to be very frustrating to deal with. However the thing that was holding them back was their build, which consists of mostly Critical Hit items. These items do not provide any defensive stats, making these champions quite squishy and somewhat manageable to deal with.
But with the new Blade of The Ruined King, Stridebreaker, and Immortal Shieldbow built, the brothers are tanky and do a considerable amount of damage.
That said, with the new Patch 14.19 update, Riot nerfed almost all the items in the game including the Bruiser items. This resulted in both these champions becoming quite weak. Thus, Riot will be buffing both Yasuo and Yone in the upcoming patch.

Patch 14.20 Yasuo & Yone Buffs
Here are all the changes coming to the windbrothers,
Yasuo
Q – Steel Tempest
- Crit Damage: 80% >>> 90%
R – Last Breath
- Bonus armor pen on crit: 50% >>> 60%
Yone
Q – Mortal Steel
- Crit damage: 80% >>> 90%
Both Yasuo & Yone are getting their getting buffs to their Q Crit Damage. Judging by how spamable their Q ability is, it seems like a big buff. This change will also incentivize the champions to build Critical Chance once more. Additionally, Yasuo’s R – Last Breath is getting a slight buff to its armor pen portion.
Overall, these seem like good buffs. But there’s a chance the champions will be a tad too strong due to the buffs and the new Lethal Tempo.
Release Date
The Yasuo & Yone changes are coming to the game on Patch 14.20, which is scheduled for Wednesday, October 9, 2024.
