xQc banned from Twitch for Watching Copyright Sports Competition

Twitch Streamer xQc has been banned recently after attempting to watch copyright content.

Félix Lengyel or more commonly known online as xQc or xQcOW is a former professional Overwatch player, Twitch Streamer and Internet Personality. After leaving the world of Overwatch, xQc became a full-time streamer. He is currently one of the biggest Twitch streamers in the world.

Recently Twitch banned xQc after he attempted to watch highlights from the current sports competition held in Japan.

xQc Twitch Ban:

A Twitter bot called StreamerBans recently published the news of xQc’s ban from Twitch.

According to some sources xQc was apparently watching highlights from the copyright sports competition.

xQc’s Response:

xQc took to Twitter to express his state of mind after his most recent Twitch ban. According to the Tweet, xQc thought he took the necessary precautions so the ban came as a surprise.

“I THINK I GOT MY CHANNEL LIVE-DMCA’d. I TOOK NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS AND THOUGHT IT WOULD BE FINE. REALLY DIDN’T EXPECT IT BUT I COUL’VE EASILY AVOIDED THIS. SORRY FOR EVERYONE INVOLVED INCLUDING THE VIEWERS. I’LL BE BETTER/SMARTER NEXT TIME AND FOLLOW GUIDELINES MORE STRICTLY”
