The quarterfinals of Worlds 2022 have concluded as four teams remain in the tournament to compete in the Semifinals.

League of Legends Worlds 2022 has been quite the tournament thus far. We have seen some great games in the Groups Stage and the Play-ins. The Groups Stage drew a lot of eyes, and it built up quite the anticipation for the Quarterfinals.

The Quarterfinals ended earlier, as we have seen some great series. Even though the first two series were quick 3-0s, the last two delivered with Gen.G and DAMWON KIA being one of the best series in LoLEsports history. As the four teams now prepare for next week, let’s talk about the teams that made it in and what the bracket looks like.

Worlds 2022 Semifinal Teams

The Semifinals are due next week, and we have the best teams for the tournament. The four teams are as follows:

  • JD Gaming
  • T1
  • Gen.G
  • DRX

Three LCK teams have made it into the Semifinals as T1 handily beat RNG, and Gen.G and DRX had their scintillating series against DK and EDG, respectively. JDG is the only LPL team to advance to the Semifinals after their dominant win against Rogue.

Worlds 2022 Semifinal Bracket

Now that four teams are left, our Semifinal matches are as follows:

  • Semifinals 1 (Saturday): JD Gaming vs T1
  • Semifinals 2 (Sunday): Gen.G vs DRX

It’s another LCK vs. LCK matchup as Gen.G and DRX will face each other in the semifinals. Meanwhile, T1 and JDG should be exciting series to watch. Gen.G staving off DK after probably one of the best series in League of Legends history, and DRX continues their grand run, so that will be an interesting series.

On the other hand, T1 and JDG handily beat their opponents, and we should expect to see them in full form. All in all, this Worlds tournament is definitely meeting expectations, and it’s exciting to see all of the games and such. Worlds 2022 Finals is approaching, and we are in for a grand one.

Tune in next week to watch the Semifinals in action.
