Riot has revealed the new Worlds 2022 Chroma for the Birdio skin.
The PBE server for Patch 12.19 was updated yesterday, along with many changes and new content. Among changes were the promised Syndra Mini-Rework, Blitzcrank changes, and most importantly, the new Spirit Blossom skins. Riot revealed nine new Spirit Blossom skins yesterday, and these are gorgeous-looking skins.
Along all the new contents came a very surprising chroma, the Worlds 2022 Birdio chroma. The Birdio skin for Galio was released almost four years ago, along with Pizza Delivery Sivir. Ths skin is an April Fools skin, where Galio seen wearing a Chicken costume and delivering fried chicken.
Over the years, the skin has become very popular among fans. Despite its popularity, a chroma for a skin that is four years old is quite odd. Many people speculate that it has something to do with a potential KFC sponsorship.
Whatever the reason, we are still getting a good-looking chroma for a fantastic meme skin.
Worlds 2022 Birdio Chroma & Icon
The Worlds 2022 Birdio Chroma will have a deep blue and gold color combination similar to the Worlds 2022 Azir skin. The skin will also come with a new icon.

Since Worlds 2022 Birdio Chroma will be an event exclusive chroma, it will only be purchasable for a limited time. Worlds 2022 Birdio Chroma will cost 300 event tokens and will come with the icon as well.
Release Date
Worlds 2022 Birdio Chroma is currently on the PBE for testing. And the complete changes should hit the live servers on League of Legends patch 12.19, scheduled for Wednesday, October 5, 2022.
