World Series of Warzone, better known as WSOW, is making a grand return. Here’s the complete schedule, prize money, and the teams participating in the high-stakes Warzone 2.0 tournament.
Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 is Activision’s current largest live-service title. The game contains CoD’s classic mechanics with traditional game features from BRs such as PUBG, H1Z1 and Fortnite. While they share similarities, Warzone 2.0 has its separate fan base.
Like its predecessor, Warzone 2.0 will also host the World Series of Warzone. WSOW is a high-stakes tournament where players go against each other to win the ultimate prize. The tournament’s last iteration gained immense popularity in the community. Here’s the schedule, format, prize money, and everything related to the WSOW.

World Series of Warzone Schedule
WSOW’s Stage 1 began on April 28 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 5 PM GM with the in-game WSOW Trios playlist. The whole tournament will end in July with Stage 2 and finals. Here’s the complete schedule of WSOW’s Stage 1:
- Friday, April 28: 10 AM – 2 PM PT / 1 PM ET / 5 PM BST
- Saturday, April 29: 10 AM – 2 PM PT / 1 PM ET / 5 PM BST
- Sunday, April 30: 10 AM – 2 PM PT / 1 PM ET / 5 PM BST
Players participating in the matches during this period will only get a chance to move to Stage 2 of WSOW.
World Series of Warzone Format
There are a total of 40 teams, with 20 invited teams from each region and 20 teams that have qualified through qualifiers. The teams will drop into Al Mazrah as trios, with the points coming from kills and placement.
- 1 Kill = 1 point
- 1st Place = 2x points
- 2nd-5th Place = 1.8x points
- 6th-10th = 1.6x points
- 11th-20th = 1.4x points
- 21st -35th = 1.2x points
- 36th-50th = 1x points
Immediately after the competition, the winners will go against each other in a SoloYolo competition, where the winner will take home additional prize money.
World Series of Warzone Prize Money
The tournament’s total prize money is $1.2 million, with it being equally divided between both regions. So, the tournament’s prize money is $600,000 for each region.
