Even though Wild Rift patch 5.0 is months away from release, there are leaks revealing all the upcoming champions.

Since patch 4.4 is the last major Wild Rift update of this year, we have gotten some huge additions to the game.

In terms of champions, we have three new champions. They are Fiddlesticks, Sivir, and Zyra. Moreover, Sona and Ziggs are receiving some much-needed gameplay reworks as well. Additionally, we also got some buffs and new items for mages. Furthermore, the Arena game mode is finally coming to Wild Rift.

For cosmetics, we are getting many new skins. Some of them are Wild Rift exclusives like the Crystal Rose skins. Others are from entirely new skin lines like the upcoming Heartsteel skins. We are also getting new pets in the game as well. These pets are purely cosmetic and don’t affect gameplay.

Even though we are getting the next major patch in January of next year, several leaks have already revealed all the champions coming out in the next patch.

Prominent Wild Rift leaker ChowZ posted on Twitter about all the upcoming champions of Wild Rift in patch 5.0.

Wild Rift Patch 5.0: Upcoming Champions

We are getting three new champions in the next patch. They are,

  • Syndra
  • Talon
  • Kindred

Even before the leaks, Riot already teased that Syndra would be the first champion released next year. In the Wild Rift patch 4.4 preview video, RiotMeddler, the head of League studios, teased that she will be coming out alongside the Lunar New Year 2024 event.

Her main gameplay revolves around her orbs. She can conjure new orbs and throw them to deal massive damage. Not only that, she can deal a high amount of burst damage at all stages of the game. If you main mages in Wild Rift, she might be the perfect champion for you.

Talon is one of the strongest assassins in League of Legends PC. His main gimmick is that he can hop from wall to wall. Similar to Kayn, walls are no obstacles for him. He can be played in both mid-lane and jungle. So, if you become proficient at him, you can easily rank up.

Kindred is the last champion coming out in the next update. She is one of the hardest and most expressive champions in the game. She is a hyper scaler, as if the more kills and marks she gains, the stronger she becomes.

Kindred can gain marks by killing marked opponents and enemy jungle camps. That’s why her gameplay revolves around her invading more than other champions. But once she is at her power spike, Kindred is unstoppable.

Patch 5.0 Release Date

All of these champions will be released on patch 5.0, scheduled for January 18, 2024.
