What are Jump Scares in Warzone 2.0?

Jump scares during the Haunting are in-game prompts that randomly pop up. There are two types of jump scares in Warzone 2.0: one is in the battle pass screen, and the other pops up during the game. These jump scares happen randomly, and it is taking many players by surprise as they are unaware of it.

How to Turn Off Jump Scares in Warzone 2.0

If you are getting scared by the jump scares in Warzone 2.0, then follow these steps to turn off jump scares in-game:

  • After reaching the CoD HQ screen, head to Warzone 2.0 or Modern Warfare 2.
  • Now, navigate to the Battle Pass menu.
  • Click on the prompt at the top of the screen or press L2/LT to turn off the jump scares.
  • Jump scares will now be toned down in-game.

However, just a reminder, the jump scares in the battle pass menu will be completely turned off. Unfortunately, the jump scares in the game might remain and may pop up randomly during a match.
