Warframe finally crashed the Fortnite party, and it did it in the biggest way possible. Announced during TennoLive at TennoCon 2026, Digital Extremes is running its first official collaboration with Fortnite in partnership with Epic Games, and it starts immediately. Excalibur, the frame that basically taught every Tenno how to bullet jump, is now on the Island. If you have been waiting for a proper Warframe crossover, this is it.
Warframe x Fortnite Collab Explained
It was rumored for weeks leading up to the event, but Digital Extremes made it official on stage. The iconic Excalibur was added to Fortnite in a collaboration between Digital Extremes and Epic Games, announced by Ben Starr, who recently appeared in the battle royale as the main antagonist, Geno. If that name sounds familiar to Warframe players, it should. Ben Starr voices Arthur, the 1999 protoframe version of Excalibur, so having him reveal the skin was a nice bit of symmetry rather than a random celebrity drop.
The surreal sci-fi world of Warframe ventures through a rift in the Void to join the world of Fortnite. A rift between worlds is about as on-brand as it gets for a game built around the Void.
Excalibur makes total sense as the first pick. He has been the face of the franchise for over a decade. Excalibur has spent 13 years as Warframe’s poster boy, the master of gun and blade, and the starter frame that taught most of us how to bullet jump. Throwing in some obscure late-game frame would not have landed the same way.
All Warframe Fortnite Skins and Cosmetics
Right now, the headliner is the Excalibur Outfit. He is arriving on the Island as a brand new Outfit, marking the first time a Warframe has crossed into Epic’s shooter. The in-game model keeps his clean white and red silhouette intact, so he reads as Excalibur even to Fortnite players who have never touched Warframe.
Also, there is a music side to it for this collab. The in-game boyband On-lyne’s debut music track, PARTY OF YOUR LIFETIME, from Warframe: 1999, is also available in Fortnite Festival for purchase for V-Bucks via the in-game store. If you have played through the 1999 chapter, you already know On-lyne is Warframe’s Infested boy band, and now they have a stage inside Fortnite Festival. Not bad for a fictional group.
Excalibur Fortnite Price and V-Bucks Cost
The Excalibur Outfit runs you 1,500 V-Bucks in the Fortnite shop. And that lines up with the usual pricing for a full character Outfit, so no surprises there.
The On-lyne track, PARTY OF YOUR LIFETIME, is a separate purchase in Fortnite Festival and costs 500 V-Bucks. Grab both if you want the complete Warframe experience, or just cherry-pick the skin if the Höllvania sound is not your thing.
