Following feedback from the community, Riot Games slightly tuned the XP gain with each new iteration of the battle pass. As it stands now, the current version is acceptable for most players. Riot is currently working on a system that will incentivize players to queue with their friends more often.
Earn more XP
The squad boost feature will enable you to earn more XP when you play any game mode with a pre-made lobby. Those players who have difficulties unlocking every reward from the battle pass will be happy to know this feature could literally make the grind a lot easier.
