In the recent dev vlog, Riot Games gave players a glimpse into what they can expect from VALORANT’s premium content team going into 2021.

Riot has been killing it in terms of serving its players base with unique skin bundles. Each of these weapon bundles has totally different attributes. From launch, Riot’s premium content team has put out almost 26 skin lines containing over 130 gun skins.

Furthermore, they also released three full battle passes with different skins lines. Riot claims they really wanted to make different variants of all the melee weapon skins. But due to time and other constraints alongside the lack of artists in the premium content team, they had to postpone their idea.

However, in this holiday they went overtime to deliver two new skins bundles called the BlastX and Winter Wonderland. And for the first time, they will include different melee variants for these skins. Riot plans to add more melee variants to other weapon bundles in the future.

New cosmetic items in 2021

In 2021, Riot might explore new types of cosmetic items for players to further customize their play sessions in VALORANT. The exact nature of these cosmetic items is still unknown. Seems like Riot will definitely experiment with unique cosmetic additions in the game.

VALORANT community loves all the different skins in the game but despises the high price tag. To somewhat remedy this, Riot introduced the new Night Market that will offer discounts on randomly selected skins.
