Riot Games is currently testing the Tournaments feature for VALORANT, where players will be able to take part in competitive leagues and earn points.
The developers behind the popular MOBA game League of Legends decided to venture into the world of the competitive first-person shooter with VALORANT. Riot basically hired former Counter-Strike players and developers to create something similar yet more refined for the new generation of FPS enthusiasts with unique abilities.
Aside from making this game easy to pick up and play, Riot Games also focused a lot on its competitive integrity. In short, the MOBA developers made VALORANT from the ground up to be a competitive game that will hold international tournaments on par with League & other popular Esports titles.
And seems like Riot has decided to take things up a notch by playtesting a Tournaments feature where players will be able to participate in tournaments and earn points.
