VALORANT Patch 13.06 arrives on September 22, 2026, bringing the Warden rifle, Gauntlet: Glitched, Agent Mastery, and a major refresh to the game’s menus. There’s plenty to try, whether you want another weapon for holding angles or a new reason to keep playing your main.
In brief:
- Warden joins the rifle lineup at 2,900 credits.
- Gauntlet: Glitched introduces duos, ability drafting, and unusual upgrades.
- Agent Mastery adds progression and rewards for individual Agents.
- Performance Score replaces ACS, alongside new career tracking and Range access during matchmaking.
VALORANT Patch 13.06 Agent Buffs and Nerfs

There are no direct Agent balance buffs or nerfs listed for Patch 13.06. The update focuses on new content, progression, interface changes, and fixes. Warden is the main addition that could change your buying decisions, although its place alongside the Phantom and Vandal will depend on how players put it to use.
New Warden Rifle Stats

The Warden costs the same as the Vandal and Phantom and offers a scoped option for longer engagements. Its small magazine makes missed shots expensive, so picking your fights should matter.
- Weapon class: Automatic rifle.
- Price: 2,900 credits.
- Scope: 2x magnification.
- Magazine: 18 bullets.
- Reserve ammunition: 36 bullets.
- Damage at all ranges: 200 head, 50 body, and 42 legs.
- Fire rate: 6.5 shots per second.
- Reload time: 2.5 seconds.
- Equip times: 1 second normally, 0.6 seconds fast, and 0.2 seconds instant.
- Wall penetration: Medium.
Performance Score Replaces ACS

Performance Score now determines MVP and scoreboard order in Competitive, Unrated, Swiftplay, and Premier. Scores run from 0 to 500 and consider more than combat.
For players who spend rounds setting up teammates, that’s a change worth watching. The new match summary also gives you a clearer place to review your performance and rewards before deciding whether to queue again.
Accolades, Rank Legacy, and Career Changes

Accolades track standout performances, while Rank Legacy records how often you have reached each rank. The redesigned Career page brings together your top Agents, match history, and rank, with a Competitive Hub for deeper tracking. Accolades begin fresh with this update.
Accolades require Competitive or Premier. Rank Legacy counts each rank once per three-act block; demotions do not count. Dedicated Hub pages remain private.
Practice Range While Queuing

You can now warm up in the Range while matchmaking, making longer waits a little more useful.
Enter after queuing or queue from inside. Short queues may delay access. Premier, Deathmatch, and modes without Agent Select are unsupported.
Agent Mastery Progression and Rewards

Agent Mastery gives each Agent a separate progression track. Playing your chosen Agent earns Mastery Points, with bonuses for wins and strong performances.
The system has two main tracks:
- Act Levels: Progression that resets each Act and provides portrait upgrades.
- Lifetime Levels: Permanent progression tied to rewards for that Agent.
Agent IDs add another way to personalize your profile with earned components. Previously unlocked Agent Gear stays in your inventory, so your existing cosmetics aren’t disappearing with the overhaul.
Everyone starts at zero; previous playtime does not carry over.
Portrait Accents unlock at Act Levels 4, 7, and 10, followed by overleveling. Act Levels also increase Lifetime Levels. Eligible rewards require Kingdom Credits.
Gauntlet: Glitched Adds Ability Drafting

Gauntlet: Glitched lets eight duos compete using hybrid Robo Agents. You build your kit from randomized abilities and upgrade it during the match, opening up combinations you cannot use in regular VALORANT.
Four arenas remix familiar map spaces for duels. The appeal is experimenting with a build as your options change, giving you something very different from standard team compositions.
Round losses drain team health; zero means elimination. Eliminated teams can immediately requeue. Gauntlet replaces Retake.
Abilities reach Level 3, with Level 2 glitches possible. Later losses cost more health, weapons change, and winners can spectate from above.
Home Screen and Menu Updates
Home and Lobby now share one hub, keeping your party together with access to events, missions, the map pool, and leaderboards. Navigation has also been reorganized, while Collection indicators help you spot newly earned cosmetics.
The refreshed end-of-match experience puts performance, rewards, and match information together. These changes should make it easier to find what you need between games.
Player Behavior and Boosting Detection

Riot Voice Evaluation now better detects abusive communication in Spanish, Portuguese, and Korean. Players should continue using the Voice Comms Abuse report category when necessary, since reports help Riot evaluate incidents and improve detection.
Boosting detection has banned over 90,000 accounts since July 20, averaging 1,600 daily.
Bug Fixes and Known Issues
- Ultimate dialogue no longer cuts off after another ability.
- Exiting controlled abilities no longer avoids simultaneous flashes.
- Cypher’s Trapwire active appearance is corrected.
