VALORANT could soon become much better at recognizing what players actually contribute to a match. According to information reportedly found in the game files, Riot Games is working on a more detailed performance system that tracks how effectively players use their Agent abilities, rather than relying heavily on traditional combat statistics.
The leaked system contains specific performance triggers for 24 VALORANT Agents, according to VALORANT insider valohabercisi. These range from flashing multiple enemies with Breach to blocking damage with Harbor’s Cove, healing teammates as Skye, or successfully planting the Spike with Gekko’s Wingman.
Riot has confirmed that VALORANT Patch 13.06 will release on September 22, describing it as a particularly substantial update, although Riot has not officially confirmed that this leaked performance system will arrive with the patch.
In brief:
- Leaked game files contain Agent-specific performance conditions for 24 VALORANT Agents.
- Effective ability usage could become more important when calculating individual performance.
- Actions such as flashes, scans, heals, smokes, detains, utility-assisted kills, and objective plays are represented in the leaked data.
- Riot has not officially confirmed the system yet, so the values and conditions could change before release.
VALORANT Could Start Measuring Ability Impact More Closely

It is important to clarify that VALORANT’s Average Combat Score, or ACS, is not currently calculated from kills and damage alone.
Riot previously explained that Combat Score also considers factors such as first bloods, multikills, damage, and assists. Patch 1.11 also specifically adjusted Combat Score to account for non-damaging assists. Riot has additionally stated that ACS is not identical to the performance calculations used when determining ranked updates.
The leaked system appears to take this concept much further.
Instead of broadly rewarding assists, VALORANT could recognize specific Agent interactions. A Sova scanning enemies with Recon Bolt, an Omen hitting several opponents with Paranoia, or a Killjoy stopping a Spike defuse with Nanoswarm could all become identifiable performance events.
Agent-specific conditions currently found in the leaked files:
Gekko Performance Bonuses
Gekko could receive additional performance credit when:
- An enemy dies because of Mosh Pit

This Could Be a Big Change for VALORANT Ranked

If these systems are eventually activated as the leaked files suggest, the biggest change may be how VALORANT recognizes players whose contribution does not always appear at the top of the scoreboard.
Initiators who consistently set up teammates, Controllers who create valuable sightline blocks, and Sentinels who successfully use defensive utility could potentially have their impact measured in much greater detail.
So, that does not necessarily mean players will suddenly gain more RR simply by farming ability interactions. Riot has previously made it clear that ACS and ranked rating calculations are separate systems. Riot also adjusted RR calculations again in Patch 13.00 to improve progression for players who consistently win matches.
As of writing, the Agent-specific conditions should therefore be treated as datamined information rather than confirmed Patch 13.06 mechanics.
The data has reportedly existed in VALORANT’s files for some time, and several Agents are still missing from the dataset. Riot could modify, remove, or expand these conditions before the system ever reaches live servers.
Still, the sheer amount of Agent-specific tracking suggests Riot has been experimenting with a much more detailed way of understanding player performance, one where using your utility effectively could matter far more than simply finishing a match with the highest kill count.
