Riot has unveiled upcoming Renekton buffs on League of Legends in patch 14.4.
Patch 14.4 is shaping up to be a very significant update. This patch will include a lot of new additions and some very big changes to League of Legends.
As for smaller additions, as patch 14.4 is the second patch that is part of Lunar Revel 2024, it will include several new Lunar New Year-based skins. Moreover, the skins that are coming in this patch are from an existing skin line called Porcelain. For this new iteration, Aurelion Sol is getting the legendary skin.
As for balance-related changes, we are getting so many of them. It isn’t limited to champions or items; we are also getting some technical system-related changes as well, like the Tether system.
Back to the topic, due to the item system rework, many champions have gotten weaker. Thus, in this patch, Riot is buffing them to make them viable again. One of these champions is Renekton. Therefore, Riot has announced that Renekton will be getting some buffs in patch 14.4.

- Cull the Meek – Q
- Champion Healing: 12-36 (+15% Base AD) >>> 12-44 (+17% Base AD)
- Slice and Dice – E
- Cooldown: 16-12 >>> 16-10

- Bonus Health: 250-550 >>> 300-700
Before we get into the changes, first, let’s discuss Renekton’s current ranked stats. While he is not the worst top laner right now, he is still ranked in the bottom five.
As for what changes he is getting, his Q champion healing, E cooldown, and R bonus health is increasing. But if you look at the changes, then you will see that he is not getting any early game changes. Instead, these changes are all to improve his late game and scaling. For example, his late-game Q healing and AD scaling have increased significantly. Not only that, the max rank cooldown for his E was also reduced. The biggest buff of them all is the R bonus health buff.
Overall, regardless of his build, he should be able to scale decently well now in the late game.
