The latest leaks suggest that more characters are joining the Genshin Impact Roster in versions 4.3 to 4.6!
Genshin Impact launched their new region with the 4.0 update, and since then, new characters have started to come one by one, and there’s more to come along with fan-favorite reruns.

Remember that there hasn’t been any official statement from miHoYo regarding any of the claims provided in this article. So, all the upcoming characters in Genshin Impact version 4.3 to 4.6 are just rumors and speculations.
These are just leaks & claims by leakers & community members. So, make sure to take all of the rumors with a grain of salt.
Some of these predictions are made based upon last reruns of characters, some ‘inside data leaks’ – by leakers and in-game festivals & motivations.
Version 4.3
From the official statement of miHoYo, in version 4.3, we will get 2 new characters: the 5-star Geo Claymore Navia and Chevreuse, a 4-star pyro polearm with gun mechanics.
As for the rerun characters, Itto & Albedo were favorites because their last appearance was almost a year ago. Now, the claims have moved to Inazuma, and we might be getting Raiden, Ayaka & Yoimiya as rerun characters.
1st phase is likely to include Navia & Ayaka, while the 2nd phase is supposed to have Raiden & Yoimiya. Keep in mind that miHoYo can just pull a UNO reverse and put Albedo & Itto or one of them instead of Ayaka or Yoimiya.
Version 4.4
The Lantern Rite event will cover version 4.4, and the banners will contain Liyue-focused characters. So, expect to see Xiao, Ganyu & Shenhe make their return on your banner screen.
As for the new characters, Cloud Retainer is rumored to become playable as a 5-star Anemo Catalyst Unit with a flying mechanism. Details regarding her kit are still in the shadows, but leakers claim she will be an off-field healer.
The 4-star character nicknamed Lion Dance Boy is said to also show up. But there aren’t any leaks or rumors regarding his name or kit yet.
Cloud Retainer & Shenha are in the supposed lineup for the first half, while Xiao & Ganyu will take the second half. This composition might become reversed.
Version 4.5
We might get our first 5-star Geo Character from Inazuma, named Chiori, who will take the first phase.
The rumored rerun character in this patch might be Nahida. But if Itto doesn’t come in 4.3, he is also a possible option for the second phase.
Version 4.6
With every new region, we get a new harbinger, and Fontaine will give us Arlecchino as a playable 5-star Pyro Polearm unit in version 4.6. We should be getting the first rerun characters from Fontaine in this patch as well.
So, expect to run into Lyney and others in this patch. The chance of Lyney arriving is higher due to his connections with Arlecchino.
