The prayers of the Rainbow Six Siege community have been answered as Ubisoft has finally shared some news on Tier 2 and 3 of Rainbow Six esports.

It has been months since Siege players have been asking Ubisoft for more news regarding esports and tournaments for up-and-coming players.

The return of the Community Cups and the addition of Off-Season competitions will help young Siege players show off their skills and work on becoming better players. Not only that but players around the world can also earn some money from these tournaments.

BLAST R6 COMMUNITY CUPS FORMAT

The Community Cups will take place across the following regions:

Starting in June 2023 until February 2024 included, there will be one Community Cup per week in all the regions listed above. Each tournament will be played on Saturdays at 2PM in the corresponding region’s local time.

Each tournament will allow up to 128 teams to sign up. Teams will compete in a BO1 Single Elimination bracket. In the event that more than 128 teams sign up, the competition will be split across two days, on Saturdays and Sundays. The format details and rules of the BLAST R6 Community Cups are available on their corresponding web page on the Challengermode website.

By competing in these Community Cups, individual players will score points in a monthly regional leaderboard based on their final placement in each weekly tournament. The leaderboards will be reset every month.

Each region will have a 500€ monthly prize pool for their Community Cups. At the end of every month, the top 10 players in the Community Cups monthly leaderboard will share the €500 prize pool of their corresponding region.

OFF-SEASON COMPETITIONS

We’re happy to announce that during the Off-Seasons, we will be hosting new competitions in Brazil, Europe, and North America, which will offer up-and-coming players and teams an additional opportunity to compete at a higher level, hone their skills, and earn rewards.
