After five days of hard-fought battles, TSM finally secured the ALGS 2023 Championship with 3 back-to-back wins.
TSM is one of the most beloved teams in the Apex Legends competitive scene. They performed on large stages and won major tournaments to make their presence known to all at an early stage of the game.
The team began its ALGS 2023 journey with a resounding victory in the Split 1 Playoffs. They also came close to winning the second Playoffs but were narrowly defeated by the tournament’s other favorite, DarkZero. With first and second places in their pockets, TSM’s ALGS 2023 journey appeared to be on solid ground.
Although many people doubted that they would do well in the final phase of the ALGS 2023, the team proved everyone wrong by stealing the championship title from 39 other of the world’s best Apex Legends teams.

TSM Wins ALGS 2023 Championship
TSM’s entry into the ALGS 2023 Championship was quite underwhelming. Despite their inability to dominate the Group Stage, they easily advanced to the Winners Bracket. However, the typical TSM gameplay was missing from the deadly trio.
Later, the team came dangerously close to being relegated from the Winners Bracket Stage to the Elimination Bracket. However, with a last-second victory, TSM rose from eighteenth to fifth position and qualified for the Match Point Finals.
Similarly to the Winners Bracket, TSM struggled at the beginning of the Match Points Finals, while OpTic Gaming had a field day. If NRG hadn’t stepped up in the fourth match and wiped them out in the final circle, OpTic Gaming would have won the Championship.
Before match six, TSM had only gained 22 points, while two teams were already at Match Points, trailed by three other teams. At that time, TSM’s dream to win the ALGS 2023 Championship seemed over.
However, in match six, TSM held on to their nerves and won the match with six kills in their points tally. They continued their streak and won the seventh match with seven kills. Indeed, winning the third match back-to-back was looking almost impossible on the biggest stage of ALGS.
Regardless, TSM dominated until the end. They played their cards correctly and secured the best possible position on the map. Even so, defeating the best teams, who are eager to eliminate anyone who stands in their way, was no easy task.
However, TSM reigned supreme and eliminated anyone in their way to snatch away the Match Point victory from under every team’s noses and prove to anyone why they are still the best team in Apex Legends.
