MSI 2023 – Best 5 Support Players
5- ON (Bilibili Gaming)
ON is the support main in the BLG team. He mostly plays tank or engage champions. But there are some enchanters in his arsenal. While his main enchanter champion is Nami, depending on the team composition, he also plays Renata Glasc. Overall, he is one of the youngest talents fans should keep their eyes on.
4 – Hylissang (MAD Lions)
Hylissang is a Bulgarian player currently playing for MAD Lions. He is the most creative support player in the pro scene. While the current meta does not allow for carry support, Hylissang still played champions like Pyke and Ashe. And he actually won with those picks.
3 – Keria (T1)
Keria is the support player, currently playing for T1. While his main champions are Pyke and Thresh, he is delving into champions like Rakan and Tahm Kench because of the current meta. However, he still plays most of his matches with Thresh.
2 – Delight (Gen.G)
Previously part of T1’s Acadamy team, Delight is the current support player for the LCK Spring Champion team, Gen.G. Unlike players like Keria or ON, who mainly plays engage champions, Delight, on the other hand, specializes in enchanter supports. If this list was about the previous seasons, Delight might not have been on the list or would have been lower. But the current meta highly favors enchanters over engage supports. So that is why Delight is higher on the list.
1 – Missing (JD Gaming)
Missing is the current support main for JD Gaming. Moreover, he is the best support player competing in the MSI 2023. The main reason is the diverse champion pool and flexible playstyle. Missing plays all types of support regularly and can still utilize all of their abilities to their fullest potential. And having a player who can adapt in all situations, regardless of champion or role, is an edge in all matches. And because of Missing’s flexible playstyle with all support champions, he is the best support participating at MSI 2023.
