As Worlds 2023 is right around the corner, let’s take a look at the best junglers attending the event.
Worlds is the most anticipated annual League of Legends event. In this tournament, the best players from around the world compete against each other.
Since League of Legends is a team-based game, each member is specified a role to make the game more accessible and fluent. And one of the most influential roles is the jungle.
The jungle is a role in which the player freely roams around the map, gathering XP and gold by killing neutral monster camps, setting up kills for his team, and capturing high-priority objectives to assist their team in getting the win. Since the jungler can roam from the early stages of the game, he can quickly help all the other lanes fast and efficiently by ganking them.
Because of the responsibility, the jungle player must be self-reliant. He has to play in a way that will benefit his team in the long run.
Since Worlds is on the horizon, both casual and avid players can see what high-level League of Legends looks like. So here’s the list of the top 5 jungle players participating in Worlds 2023.

Worlds 2023: Top 5 Junglers
5. Xun (Bilibili Gaming)

Xun is the jungler for the MSI 2023 runner-up team, BLG. He has a high-tempo playstyle. However, he has been switching to support jungle due to recent changes to and around the jungle. He often picks either a tank jungler, Vi with Radiant Virtue, or, on rare occasions, his signature Wukong.
4. WeiWei (Weibo Gaming)

Weiwei is the jungler for WBG. In terms of playstyle, he is extremely team-oriented. Even with that, he is extremely consistent and reliable. In recent LPL Summer and Regional Finals, most of his picks were Sejuani, Poppy, and Ivern. However, he will carry the match with Wukong, Vi, and Nocturne when his team needs it.
3. Tarzan (LNG Esports)

Tarzan is the jungler for LNG. Additionally, he is one of the best junglers in Korea due to his knowledge and understanding of the game. While his favorite champion is Trundle and Nocturne, he often opts for either Sejuani or Maokai due to the current meta. Rarely when he does pick one of his favorites, he will dominate the rift.
2. Peanut (Gen.G)

Peanut is the jungler for the LCK 2023 Summer runner-up team, Gen.G. Moreover, he is one of the most aggressive players on this list. Unlike others who pick support junglers to enhance their team’s team fight potential, Peanut, on the other hand, picks champions like Kha’Zix, Vi, and Wukong and plays aggressively to the point where the enemy is rarely ahead. And if picking these aggressive carries isn’t a viable strategy, then he will pick meta champions like Sejuani and will set up kills for his teammates.
1. Kanavi (JD Gaming)

Kanavi is the jungler for the MSI 2023 champion team, JD Gaming. He is the most creative player on the list, as he builds peculiar items on his jungle picks, even in pro games. But nowadays, he excels at almost all high-tier jungle champions with their meta builds.
Especially with Wukong, he can make plays that will guarantee his team the win. But if his team wants or Wukong is banned, he sets up kills efficiently with his Maokai and Sejuani.
With the current jungle meta being stale and filled with high CC champions at the top, Kanavi is the best at efficiently utilizing everything the meta junglers have to offer.
Honorable Mentions
Canyon (Dplus KIA)

Canyon is a fan-favorite pro jungler in League of Legends. He boasts multiple MVPs in both LCK and Worlds. Additionally, he is the first player who got a pentakill in LCK as a jungler. While he is still one of the best junglers, the others on this list have a higher potential to win than him.
Oner (T1)

Similar to Canyon, Oner is also one of the fan-favorite junglers in Worlds 2023. Similar to other junglers on this list, he also mainly plays Sejuani, Maokai, and other meta junglers. However, due to his and T1’s recent performance, Oner is currently in the honorable mentions.
