Are you curious to find out the best Legends of the ALGS 2023 Championship? You’re in the right place.
The ALGS 2023 Championship has just concluded with a bang. Forty teams from all over the world participated in this year’s biggest Apex Legends international tournament. However, only one team went home with the ALGS 2023 Championship trophy.
This year’s ALGS Championship was won by TSM, who performed spectacularly throughout the event and came out on top, defeating tournament favorites such as DarkZero, Alliance, NRG, OpTic Gaming, and many more.
Despite the placement, each team performed magnificently in the ALGS 2023 Championship tournament. All teams demonstrated the significance of hard work, cooperation, and strategy. To make everything work, the teams also had to pick the best Legends that matched their game plan and suited the ongoing meta.

Best Legends in ALGS 2023 Championship
Here, we’ll list the most-picked Legends of the ALGS 2023 Championship, along with their pick rates. Remember, the pros compete at the pinnacle of Apex Legends, which goes beyond the highest level of rank. As a result, the pick rates will undoubtedly differ from the regular Legends pick rates across all rank levels.
Nonetheless, here are the top 10 most-picked Legends in the ALGS 2023 Championship:
1. Bangalore – 78.61%
Bangalore had 1067 total picks in the ALGS 2023 Championship. Before this tournament, Bangalore had never had such a high pick rate in any event. The Controller meta may have motivated most players to choose Bangalore. Besides that, Bangalore’s versatile abilities made her the ALGS 2023 Championship Legend of choice.
2. Catalyst – 77.58%
During the ALGS 2023 Championship run, Catalyst was the Controller Legend of choice for the majority of teams. Catalyst is the only Controller Legend who can currently use her ability to hold down any building. With so many buildings and rooms with doors in World’s Edge and Storm Point, choosing another Controller Legend other than Catalyst seemed like a no-brainer.
3. Horizon – 67.49%
Although Horizon is a Skirmisher Legend, she also fills the role of an Assault character. Horizon has been dominant throughout the ALGS 2023 season, with most teams preferring her over other Assault and Skirmisher Legends. As a result. she was the third most-picked Legend in the ALGS 2023 Championship event, with 916 total picks.
4. Bloodhound – 21.95%
Because of Seer’s hard nerf, Bloodhound became the preferred scan Legend in the ALGS 2023 Championship. Although Bloodhound’s pick rate fluctuated during the Group Stage, it remained consistent during the Bracket Stage and Match Point Finals. Bloodhound ended the ALGS 2023 Championship run with 298 total picks.
5. Valkyrie – 12.89%
Even though Respawn introduced Evac Tower in Season 16, some pro teams did not forget the essence of Valkyrie, even during the ALGS 2023 Championship. Statistically, a Valkyrie was present for approximately three teams in every ALGS 2023 Championship match. Although the figure isn’t particularly impressive, it’s also not terrible.
6. Wattson – 10.17%
Wattson was the second Controller Legend selection in the ALGS 2023 Championship, following Catalyst. Wattson was picked 138 times during the ALGS 2023 Championship tournament. However, when placement is taken into account, Wattson had a better overall stat than Catalyst in the tournament. So, if Catalyst receives a nerf, we may see a lot of Wattsons in the upcoming ALGS season.
7. Fuse – 8.25%
Fuse is a straight-up counter to Catalyst. He is the only Legend capable of infiltrating Catalyst’s fortified room or building. Furthermore, when multiple teams are fighting, Fuse can annoy opponents and get some free kills. Unfortunately, Fuse isn’t very useful in the final moments of the game. As a result, in the ALGS 2023 Championship event, he only had 112 picks. Still, given the availability of Bangalore and Horizon, it’s not bad.
8. Crypto – 8.03%
Even before the Seer nerf, Crypto was popular among pro teams. The trend continued all the way to the ALGS 2023 Championship. Although the Seer nerf was expected to increase Crypto’s pick rate, the Legend was only picked 109 times during the entire ALGS 2023 Championship run.
9. Gibraltar – 5.08%
Gibraltar was once a Legend with a 100% pick rate in ALGS. However, the meta has shifted significantly since then, and Gibraltar’s popularity has declined. Even so, many teams that preferred Gibraltar continued to select him because his abilities were still useful. Regardless, Gibraltar was chosen only 69 times during the tournament. Perhaps a lot more teams would pick Gibraltar in the ALGS 2023 Championship if he were a Controller Legend.
10. Newcastle – 4.20%
Newcastle, like Gibraltar, is a Support Legend. The playstyles of Gibraltar and Newcastle are very similar. Unsurprisingly, they have a similar pick rate in the ALGS 2023 Championship.
