Tom Clancy’s The Division Resurgence is The Division franchise game for Android and iOS. But is it an open-world game? We are here to answer that.
Tom Clancy’s The Division Resurgence is The Division Series’ newest announced title. It is not a big franchise yet, only consisting of two games available on PC and Consoles. That said, the next game in this series brings the game to the mobile platform.
According to Ubisoft, Tom Clancy’s The Division Resurgence seeks to bring the PC or Console The Division experience to the Android and iOS platforms. The closed alpha is going on right now, with registration being active on their website.
With the new Division game being on mobile, it raises a lot of questions. And thankfully, Ubisoft addresses many of these questions on their site. So here is what we know about The Division Resurgence.

The Division Resurgence: Is it Open-World?
The Ubisoft site says, “This open-world game is a whole new opus to the Tom Clancy’s The Division franchise, with a new storyline, villains, and factions.” From there, we can assume The Division Resurgence will be an open-world game despite being on mobile.
They also said that it would feature an independent campaign. So you don’t need to play Division 1 and 2 to jump into the game. But the story may tie into the other two games. The Division Resurgence will also be a free-to-play experience, which will try to bring The Division gameplay to Mobile platforms.
With the closed alpha being currently active, we can assume Tom Clancy’s The Division Resurgence will be released in late 2022 or early 2023 for everyone to play and enjoy.
