The Wild Rift exclusive ultimate Fiend Queller Yone skin may cost players up to $500 to get the skin.

Skins are one of the most important parts of a free-to-play live-service game. This allows the game developer to monetize the game while it is free to play. On the other hand, the players could purchase the skins to get some cool-looking cosmetics and support the developers. However, the prices of the skins still need to make sense by being affordable.

Before 2023, the prices of League of Legends skins weren’t that terrible all things considered. The most expensive skins before then were the mythic or the ultimate skins. Even then the most expensive of them was $35.

However, since the release of Dark Cosmic Erasure Jhin, things have gotten out of hand. For context, in order to get Dark Cosmic Erasure Jhin, you had to do some gacha pulls. And by the time you got the skin, it would have cost you roughly $200. And they haven’t stopped doing that as we have gotten a ton of mythic legendary skins that cost similarly afterward.

With that said, they have also implemented similar gacha systems in TFT and Wild Rift. The worst was when we got the $500 Immortalized Ahri skin. But now, Riot just outdid themselves as the upcoming Wild Rift exclusive ultimate Fiend Queller Yone skin may cost up to $500.

$500 Ultimate Yone Skin

Not too long ago, Riot announced that ultimate rarity skins are coming to Wild Rift. Ultimate skins are very sought after in PC League of Legends as they feature unique gimmicks that other skins don’t have.

Recently, Riot has unveiled all of the Fiend Queller skins. One of those skins is the first ultimate skin in Wild Rift, Fiend Queller Yone. As the prices for PC ultimate skin, they cost around $35 as stated before.

However, Riot didn’t mention how much the ultimate skin on Wild Rift will cost. But players knew that it would incorporate a gacha system. And the players were right, as this skin could only be achieved as a gacha pull.

So the question is how much would it cost to get this skin? And someone already answered this question. The well-known mobile content creator and caster BLAM did an entire calculation.

According to him, it should cost around £454.87 to get this skin. And to calculate it in USD, 3275 Wild Cores should cost you around $34.99. So in the end, it would cost you around $454.87 to get this skin. It is a very predatory mechanic and they are not even hiding that this is a gacha mechanic. Overall, it is not recommended to purchase this skin whatsoever.
