The Super Mario series is a popular video game franchise created by Nintendo. Beginning in 1985, the series chronicles the adventures of Mario, a plumber from the Mushroom Kingdom and his quest to save Princess Peach from the clutches of Bowser.

Since its release, it has become one of the most popular video game franchises of all time and has spawned numerous sequels, spin-offs, merchandise, and, recently, a movie.

League of Legends is a Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) game created and published by Riot Games. Released in 2009, the game has since become one of the, if not the most popular, Esports titles in the world.

That said, what happens if you combine elements of both these popular video game franchises? You get the Super Mario Gnar Mod skin. Created by the talented modder Un Pelotudo Jugando, the mod skin perfectly captures the feel of Mario through its custom textures and animations. The modder also made the popular Kid Goku mod skin for Wukong.

In this article, we will take a closer look at the Super Mario Gnar Mod Skin and show you how to install the mod yourself.

Super Mario Gnar Mod Skin

The Super Mario Gnar Mod skin is a custom Mod skin for the champion Gnar, and it comes with various features. These include,

  • New models for the Mini and Mega forms
  • New sound effects and voiceover
  • New particles effects
  • New icons for abilities
  • New portraits
  • New loading screen image

How to Install

The mod’s installation procedure is relatively simple to follow. All the steps needed to install the mod are listed here.

  • First, download the latest version of the CSLoL mod manager from GitHub or click here.
  • Download the Super Mario Gnar Mod from the RuneForge website or click here.
  • Place the mod file in the mod manager.
  • Lastly, run the mod using the mod manager.

It should be noted that the voiceover is not included with the mod file. You can download the voiceover from here. In addition, the voiceover lines are available in various languages; select the one that corresponds to your location and client.

Now that all the steps have been taken to install the mod, you should be able to use the custom mod on your game. For more information and troubleshooting, check the RuneForge official page.

Is It Safe?

Custom skins, according to Riot, are categorized as “Use at your own Risk. “

Riot has not, however, banned players from utilizing custom skin modifications. Nevertheless, using custom modes may result in game file corruption. Reinstalling or Repairing the game will fix these files.

Please be aware that it is against the rules to use mods to mimic in-game skins; doing so will result in your account being banned.

Since the mod doesn’t violate any rules so it’s pretty safe to use the Super Mario Gnar mod.
