Have you ever wanted to play as Goku from the Dragon Ball in League of Legends? Well, now you can, with the new kid Goku custom skin mod.

The Dragon Ball series created by Akira Toriyama is likely one of the, if not the most influential, Manga/Anime of all time. It was so influential that it defined a whole generation. From Millenials to Zoomers, everyone loves Dragon Ball. The story is rich, the fights are fantastic, and the characters are memorable. Among the characters, we have Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Frieza, Cell, Yamcha, and a whole host of characters. But the most popular character is always Goku.

Being both a Dragon Ball fan and an avid League of Legends player, if always wondered if I could somehow combine the characters of Dragon Ball with the mechanics of League of Legends. Maybe Riot could one day collaborate with Dragon Ball? Well, that’s pretty unlikely.

So the only option left was custom skins. Looking at the catalog of Dragon Ball-themed custom skins, there were a few, but none of them felt high quality, or if they were, they didn’t thematically match with the characters. But then I came across a mod mode by Un Pelotudo Jugando.

The mod replaces Wukong’s base mode with that of kid Goku. It is a well-crafted mod that even replaces Wukong’s voice. It also has two versions, a Dragon Ball kid Goku version and a Dragon Ball GT kid Goku version. Additionally, the mod also meshes pretty well thematically.

How to Install

The installation process is pretty simple and can be done easily by following these simple steps,

  • First, download the CSLoL mod manager from the killerskins website.
  • Download the Kid Goku custom skin mod file using the link in the following YouTube video description or use this link.
  • Place the Kid Goku custom skin mod file in the mod manager.
  • Lastly, run the mod using the mod manager.

Special thanks to Un Pelotudo Jugando for creating such a fantastic mod. Also, check out his Youtube channel for other mods and fun stuff.

Is It Safe?

Custom skins are categorized by Riot as “Use at your own risk.”, so it’s not entirely safe. That being said, Riot has not yet banned any player from using custom skins. Tons of people use custom skins, even big streamers, and Youtubers.

Although, there’s a risk of breaking game files while using custom mods. But it can be easily fixed by reinstalling the game. Sadly, the mod doesn’t work in the Asian servers and might even get you banned in the Korean server.
