Discover the heart of Starfield’s Neon City today!

Starfield, the eagerly anticipated creation from Bethesda Game Studios, renowned for masterpieces like The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, represents a monumental leap into a new universe. It’s a futuristic RPG set in space. As Earth faced troubles, humans ventured into space to live on different planets in Starfield.

Neon is one of the game’s most captivating and distinctive locations, marking the studio’s debut in crafting a cyberpunk city. This vibrant city is filled with colorful LED signs and in-your-face ads, attracting powerful corporations and underground criminals.

It’s also notable for housing a unique type of hallucinogenic fish used by residents to create the drug Aurora. That being said, this article will delve into the psychedelic space odyssey of Starfield, so hang on tight!

How to locate Neon?

Neon is located in the Volii system. To find it on your star map, move your cursor to the right of Alpha Centauri. As you move past Olympus, you’ll reach Volii, and Neon is specifically on Volii Alpha, positioned on the second orbital ring. Moreover, there’s also a nearby gas giant you can quickly scan to enhance your scanner data.

You don’t need to purchase a ship or acquire a free Starfield ship to reach Volii Alpha; you can get there using an unmodified Frontier. However, reaching at least level 5 is recommended before attempting some of the more challenging quests in Neon.

The shops in Neon City are situated within three distinct areas.

1) Neon Core

When you take the elevator in the Neon City Spaceport terminal, it brings you to the main street in Neon. This is where most of the bustling central street is home to bars, stores, hotels, the Trade Tower, and the Ryujin Industries building.

2) Ebbside

Afterward, you can reach Ebbside through four doors along the street of Neon Core.

Ebbside is a rougher part of Neon, where rival gangs fight for control, and innocent people often get caught in their conflicts. Furthermore, you’ll encounter quests here, like Neshar’s and the one from the Emporium. To dive into Neon’s gang warfare, visit Madam Sauvage’s.

3) Underbelly

Finally, the Underbelly is a small fish market. Half of the Underside is off-limits until you go there for specific quests.
