Riot has fully unveiled the highly anticipated Star Guardian Orianna skin, which will be released on patch 13.13.
Riot Games released League of Legends: Wild Rift in 2020, a mobile game based on PC League of Legends. While this game was supposed to be more of a port of the PC League of Legends, this game has many differences. These changes range from subtle to massive. One of these differences is exclusive skins.
Ever since the introduction of ranked game mode in Wild Rift, we have seen many never before seen skins. Some notable ones are the Supreme Cells skin line, exclusive Mythmaker skins, Chromacrash skins, Iconic Garen, Super Hero Vi, etc.
During each new exclusive skins release, the PC player base always asks the developers if those skins would ever come out in the main game. However, due to engine limitations, Riot never ported any of them. But earlier this year, Riot confirmed that some of the Wild Rift exclusive skins would make their way to PC.
And in Patch 13.13, we will receive the first set of the Wild Rift exclusive PC skins. One of them is Star Guardian Orianna.
This skin was initially released during the 2022 Star Guardian event. While this event introduced many new skins, it was one of the better ones in terms of epic rarity.
While her Star Guardian skin looks fantastic in Wild Rift, it is very clunky on PC. The main reason is that Orianna has a very dated game model. Due to this, many skins with high ambition can not be adequately executed. For now, we can only hope that Riot gives Orianna an ASU very soon.
