There will be a unique, rare dance animation in Coven Nami. Here’s how you can perform it.

League of Legends is a free-to-play or live-service game. Because of it, Riot added cosmetics to monetize their game. To incentivize players to purchase these goodies, they add various effects, models, textures, animation changes, etc.

There are various tiers of skins. Notable ones are epic, legendary, mythic, and ultimate. Epic ones have unique recall animations, VFX, and models. Mythics are similar but far more rare. Compared to both, legendary offers far more, as they have completely overhauled animations, models, voice-over, VFX, etc. And ultimate is similar to legendary, but they have unique gimmicks to standout.

Recently, Riot revealed the upcoming skin line coming to the game, Coven. Including the prestige edition, this skin line will include 7 new skins. Additionally, the legendary skin from this collection will be Coven Nami.

Even though the Coven Nami looks majestic itself, it will include some unique secrets. One of them is a special rare dance animation.

Coven Nami: Rare Dance Animation

Skinspotlights revealed how the rare animation would look in the game on his Twitter. This rare animation is a reference to Spongebob, specifically to the Squidward dance.

However, there is no way to trigger this animation at will. There is only a 10% chance of triggering this animation by pressing ctrl+3. So you have to spam ctrl+3 a lot to activate it. But regardless, it is still a very unique and cool animation. Hopefully, Riot will do more of these animations on future legendary skins.

Release Date

Coven Nami will be released on patch 13.20, scheduled for Wednesday, October 11, 2023. So you can experience this animation on that patch.
