This time, it’s for real. Solos is actually coming to Apex Legends in Season 21.
Solos was first introduced to Apex Legends as an LTM in Season 2. The mode immediately became popular among the players who liked constant battles. However, as Apex Legends highly promotes strategic team play, Solos also received a ton of negative feedback from a huge portion of the community. Nonetheless, the majority have always wanted to see the mode return to the game someday.
As of this day, there have been many rumors regarding Solos returning to Apex Legends. However, the developers shut down the possibility of returning Solos to the game every time. Yet, defying all odds, Solos is making a surprise return to the game after 19 seasons.

According to AG420, a data miner in the community, Solos will replace Duos in Season 21. However, it is still unconfirmed whether Solos will stay in the game for the whole duration of Season 21 or it will be an LTM.
The Season 21 Solos will be a modified version of the original Solos game mode. The new Solos will have a modified ring, loot pool, and health generation so you can fight and survive on your own.
Also, Solos will have a new feature called Respawn Token. Every player will start with Respawn Token. Upon dying, players can use this token to Respawn.
Lastly, the modified Solos will have another new feature called Battle Sense. When an enemy is nearby, you will get a warning so you can immediately get ready to fight.
