Apex Legends Upcoming Weapon Changes for Season 21 Leaked

Some of the upcoming weapon-related changes for Season 21 have been leaked.

As Apex Legends is a competitive battle royale game, Respawn tends to make meta changes with every major update to prevent the game from becoming stagnant. These changes include weapon and legend buffs and nerfs, map alternations, quality-of-life updates, and more.

Thanks to the game’s nature, weapon buffs and nerfs are some of the most crucial balancing adjustments that affect the overall meta. As a result, Season 21 will also see some important weapon-related balance changes.

Although it is impossible to know every weapon and attachment change without looking into the official patch notes, thanks to a leaker named Osvaldatore, we now have information on some of the upcoming changes:

Devotion Goes into Care Package

  • The Devotion moved into the Care Package.
  • Has Turbocharged equipped.
  • Increased magazine size to 54

Wingman Removed from Care Package

  • Wingman is now a ground weapon.
  • Can no longer equip extended mags.

Longbow DMR

  • Barrel Stabilizers slot removed.
  • Reduced recoil [similar to having a level 3 Barrel Stabilizer equipped]

Boosted Loader Hop-up Added

  • Compatible with Hemlok, Wingman, and Triple Take.

Skullpiercer Removed

  • Skullpiercer removed in Season 21.
