Slime Rancher 2, at its core, is a relaxing collecting and base-building game. You are playing the main character from the first game, Beatrix Lebeau. She is exploring a new island called Rainbow Island.
Many old slimes return in this game with a few new additions. As you play the game and progress, you can unlock different tools and items to make things easier for yourself or to reach new maps and areas.

How to Unlock Jetpack in Slime Rancher 2
To unlock Jetpack, you need to do a few things. To acquire it, you need to use the Fabricator inside the Lab. To unlock it, you will need 10 Phosphor Plorts, 10 Radiant Ore, and 450 Newbucks. But that is the easier part. These items are rare, so acquiring them is harder than normal. Here is how you can get each item for your Jetpack.
Get Radiant Ore

Get Phosphor Plorts
For jetpack, you will need 10 phosphor plorts. These can be harvested from Phosphor Gordos slimes. Unfortunately, the phosphor gordos slimes can be found only at night in the Rainbow Fields area. If you cannot make 10 plorts in one night, ensure they are protected from the sun, or they will disappear. You will also need to place a roof on the container, or they will fly away.
Unlock the Jetpack
Once you have gathered all the materials, take them to the Lab and use the Fabricator to make yourself a jetpack. The Jetpack will open up new and previously unreachable areas of the map and make the game much more fun.
