Sentinels have parted ways with Jonah “JonahP” Pulice as the organization reshapes its VALORANT roster for 2027. Jerrwin is also leaving, and CEO Rob Moore says the team has already identified replacements he considers “S tier.”

The Canadian veteran joined Sentinels in March 2026 after playing for The Guard and G2 Esports. His departure brings that stint to a close, with Sentinels looking for better results heading into the next season.

In brief:

  • Sentinels have announced the departures of JonahP and Jerrwin.
  • Rob Moore says both players were notified on September 15 that they would become unrestricted free agents.
  • Moore praised their effort but said the results fell short of the organization’s targets.
  • New additions can be announced on or after November 2, though a specific reveal date remains unconfirmed.

JonahP Leaves Sentinels After Joining in March

JonahP arrived with plenty of experience at the top of North American VALORANT. He helped The Guard win Ascension in 2023 before going on to collect regional titles with G2 Esports.

In its farewell message, Sentinels highlighted his journey from opponent to teammate, thanking him for the veteran presence he brought to the squad. The organization described him as having gone “from rivals to part of the family.”

The move follows a difficult season for Sentinels. The team failed to qualify for an international event in 2026, its first year without an international appearance since 2023.

Rob Moore Explains JonahP and Jerrwin Departures

Moore addressed both exits in his statement on X, confirming that the players had been informed of the decision well before the public announcements.

“We notified both players on September 15 that they would be unrestricted free agents.”

He also explained the reasoning behind the changes:

“They both gave great effort but did not achieve the level of success we are targeting.”

That puts the focus on Sentinels’ competitive expectations as the organization prepares its next lineup. Moore credited both players for their commitment while making clear that the team wanted stronger results.

Sentinels Target “S Tier” Replacements for Roster Rebuild

Sentinels already have their preferred replacements in mind, according to Moore.

“We have now identified replacements that we believe are S tier. We cannot announce new additions until on or after November 2. Stay tuned.”

November 2 is therefore the earliest possible announcement date, rather than a confirmed reveal. Moore’s statement also leaves the incoming players unnamed, giving fans a little longer to wait before they can judge Sentinels’ rebuilt roster.
