The Crane Puzzle in Scorn

In this puzzle, you need to move two glowing eggs using a crane and put them in a certain place to grab them with another crane. The first one will break down while trying to grab it with the second crane, thus opening up a slot and enabling you to move the second one.

Moving the First Egg

First, you need to clear a way to move the first egg in place. To do that, move the two conjoint egg one room to its right.

Moving these two conjoint eggs will open up a path for the first egg to move directly. Now you can grab this first egg and move it into place. After that, use the other crane to grab the egg. But while grabbing it with the second crane, it will break down, and we will need to get the second egg in place.

Moving the Second Egg

This second egg is much more complicated to move than the first one. This is because the second one is vertically joined with another non-usable one. You need to make way for both of them to move simultaneously.

First, we need to move the two horizontally jointed eggs directly at the bottom of the glowing position. This position will help us move the main egg from the bottom. While at it, we also need to move the other egg, just like in the picture.

Now, move the egg beside the glowing one to the side. Then pull up the bottom egg and place it where the other egg was. This will secure an area for the main vertically joined egg to move out from the position.

From here, we need to move the egg on top of the glowing one to a more suitable position. And also, we will move a conjoint egg from the top row to a more suitable position to make the main egg move.

Finally, we can move the glowing egg bundle to a more suitable position that will help us clear the rest of the way.

We need to move this horizontally joined piece all the way to the bottom. This way, it won’t be able to interfere with the movement of the main egg. The way will also become clear after moving this one.

In the same way, we need to move the bottom piece of the previous one. We will place this one on top of the last one to clear the way.

Finally, we will have to move the last three single pieces to the side and have a clear way to move our main egg into place.

For the final movement, we will place our main glowing egg in the desired place.

Now change your crane and grab the glowing egg with the other crane to complete this puzzle. You will get an egg from here that you will need to solve the next puzzle and continue the game.

Before you leave, take a look at all the achievements and how long it takes to beat Scorn. Cheers!
