The Practice Tool will finally be receiving multiplayer functionality.
League of Legends is a game that is notoriously hard to master. With over 169 champions, each with unique abilities, hundreds of items, and a plethora of complex mechanics, achieving mastery can take significant time.
To aid in this process Riot added a feature called Practice Tool back in 2017. It allowed players to test out items, builds, and champions and master them in a single-player environment. Whenever players wanted to try out a new champion mechanic, they could hop into Practice Tool and easily test it.
However, one of the problems players had with the practice tool was the lack of options or features. Compared to other games, especially fighting games, League’s practice tool felt bare bones. But, as time went on, Riot started adding more and more features to it, resulting in what it is today. Though it is not perfect, it’s functional.
Having said that, Riot recently announced that they would be adding one of its most requested features the practice tool, the ability to play multiplayer. With the update, multiple players will be able to join a single Practice Tool session and test out stuff without the hassle of using bots.

Multiplayer Practice Tool
In the latest Dev Update video Riot announced that they would be finally adding Multiplayer Practice Tool to the game.
The ability to share a Practice Tool session with other players has been one of the most requested features since the release of Practice Tool itself. Players have been asking for years for Riot to add this feature and after years, it is finally coming to the game. Now players can finally test out different champions’ mechanics, skins, and much more without interacting with bots.
The feature will added to the PBE (Public Beta Environment) servers very soon and should be out on the live servers at the start of Season 2025.
