Riot just released a new client-based mini-game called “The Demon’s Hand”, here’s everything you need to know about it.
One of the biggest gameplay changes Riot made to the game at the start of Season 15 was the introduction of Atakhan, Bringer of Ruins. He is the newest epic monster added to League of Legends. Atakhan spawns on 20 minutes at the side that has seen the most champion damage and kills.
In addition to that, Atakhan has two variants called Ruinous Atakhan and Voracious Atakhan, which spawns depending on how bloody the game is. If the players manage to take him down, the entire team will rewarded with various buffs.
Gameplay aside, Atakhan has very big lore implications. He was once the general of the great conqueror Sahn-Uzal as many know him by the name Mordekaiser. After the defeat of Mordekaiser, Atakhan was sealed and now is in control of LeBlanc.
With the release of the LeBlanc rework, it seems Riot is looking to expand the story of Atakhan and thus the arrival of the new mini-game The Demon’s Hand. Not only does the game mode give us a glimpse of Atakhans inner workings it also provides us with a fantastic new mini-game.
