Summoner’s Rift’s newest edition Chemtech Dragon is set to receive some major nerfs on League of Legends patch 11.24.

The 2022 preseason might not be as big as the previous one’s, but it did have some meta-defining changes. The most notable one was the introduction of two new drakes: Chemtech & Hextech dragon, objective bounties, and some new items.

Although the feedback for Hextech dragon has been neutral so far, most of the League of Legends players are pretty much furious with the Chemtech Dragon soul and objective bounties. Though objective bounties already received two hotfixes.

Many players are calling the Chemtech soul “unfun”, “broken”, and “unplayable.” Some are also calling Riot to address the issues surrounding the new soul immediately.

Furthermore, according to the current patch 11.23 stats, the Chemtech Dragon Soul has the highest 91.3% win rate in League of Legends.

League of Legends’ Designer on the Summoner’s Rift team, Riot Phlox, has finally shared the upcoming patch 11.24 preview after a one-week break. And it seems, they are already nerfing the Chemtech Dragon Soul on LoL patch 11.24 while buffing the Chemtech Mini Dragon.

Chemtech Dragon Soul Nerf

  • Bleed Out Time: 5s >>> 4s
  • Damage Output Reducation: 33% >>> 40%

All the nerfs should be on the PBE very soon for testing and will go live on patch 11.24, December 8, 2021.
