Minions will be getting some massive changes in Patch 13.10.
Riot appears to be bringing out all the stops for this mid-season patch, as Patch 13.10 is shaping up to be the biggest patch of Season 13.
The release of Patch 13.10 will bring many changes, including the long-awaited Mythic item update. Marksmen are getting two of their mythic items overhauled. Kraken Slayer and Immortal Shieldbow are no longer mythic items. Instead, Infinity Edge and Navori Quickblades are now the new mythic items. Rageblade will also be classified as a mythic item, and Statikk Shiv will be making a return.
Additionally, Assassin mythics are getting some changes, and Supports are getting new items as well. Also, our beloved friend of the forest, Ivern, is also getting a rework in Patch 13.10.
Not only that, some of the in-game systems are undergoing significant changes. And one of these changes is the minion changes.

Minions Changes
- Except for the first spawn of minions, Mid lane minions will meet at the same time as side-lane minions. (Side lane minions have been sped up)
- Minions that have targeted an enemy tower will ignore “call for help” signals to target enemy champions.
The first change on the list is quite significant. The proposed change will make it so that the minions in all three lanes will come at the same time. Currently, the Mid lane minions come faster than the other two lanes, which allows them to shove the lane and help out other laners without losing minions.
If these changes are implemented, Mid laners will have more incentive to stay in lane, and if they roam, they will have to miss minions, which is very bad for roaming mid-laners. On the other hand, Top and Bot laners won’t have to worry about constant mid-lane roams.
The second change is more of an anti-dive mechanic. When a player is getting pushed in under the turret, they don’t have to worry about minions aggroing the player.
Release Date
The minion changes will be coming to the live servers on Patch 13.10, which is scheduled to release on Wednesday, May 17, 2023.
