Another ban wave has come for League of Legends as Riot banned about 25,000 Accounts for using scripts.

Over the course of a year or so, Riot has taken a stance against bad behavior in League of Legends. They have gone above and beyond to keep restricting toxicity and trying to ban as many bots and cheaters as possible.

In particular, Riot is trying to amp up their banning system to get bad actors out of the game. Also, Riot has done many system changes to add chat restrictions and such to combat toxicity. So ban waves are a thing for League of Legends.

They have done this previously in terms of bots, as there is an instance of banning bots for farming Esports Capsules. In this instance, Riot has banned over 25,000 accounts to combat scripting. Here is what we know so far.

Riot Bans Accounts For Scripting

According to Riot K3o, they have banned over 25,000 League of Legends Accounts due to scripting.

Riot K3o also urged players to report anyone they suspect of using such tools. This helps them weed out the bad actors. It’s a good sign that Riot is doing a ban wave for such a huge number of accounts.

He also mentioned that they will keep an eye on Accounts being compromised in such situations.

Hence, Riot is doing a lot of work on trying to stop scripting and such. Hopefully, it gets to a point where Riot can get close to eradicating the issue.
