Rainbow Six Siege’s Year 7 is coming to an end, and for its final season, Ubisoft is prepared to launch some big updates for the players and the community. Operation Solar Raid is set to introduce a new map, updates, features, and a new Defender from Colombia.

While not much official information has been revealed as of now, we know that the newest operator will be a female and hail from Colombia. “Attackers will have to pay close attention to their electronic gadgets when she’s in the round,” stated Ubisoft.

Let’s get started with the new map, Nighthaven Labs. Competitive from the start, this map introduces you to new layouts that have never been seen before. This season’s map uses previously established story elements from Nighthaven, including their HQ and R&D labs where their tech is developed.

This season also sees big changes coming to the ranking system with Ranked 2.0. We’ve added a new rank, as well as implemented some changes to progression. Ranked 2.0 changes aim to have a real progression system while giving players revamping the matchmaking experience. Find out more about this during the reveal.

Operation Solar Raid sees the launch of cross-play and cross-progression which will allow for matchmaking between all consoles as well as between PC and streaming platforms. This feature will also allow for unified progression and inventory, letting you share your progress, in-game currencies, and items across all platforms.

As we previously announced, when Operation Solar Raid launches, the Reputation System will receive an important update. For the first time, players will be able to see their Reputation Standing and get more information on the active penalties linked to their accounts. Keep in mind that this feature is in beta, meaning there won’t be any penalties or bonuses granted based on your standing just yet, the activation of the effects and modifiers will come at a later date. More about this, as well as other anti-toxicity updates, will be made public during the reveal.

The Battle Pass is evolving and becoming more tactical with a new progression system to offer more choices. This will let players have a custom approach and choose how to progress.

Advanced Controller Options will also be coming to console players allowing them to customize the aim controls of their controller’s look stick.

The full Y7S4 season reveal will take place on Monday, November 21st at 12:30 pm PST / 3:30 pm EST / 9:30 pm CEST on YouTube and Twitch. Tune in to be the first to know, and to receive an exclusive charm, headgear, and uniform.
