Ubisoft has announced that Rainbow Six Siege will be finally receiving the new Emerald Plains map tonight.
Rainbow Six Siege players were getting really unhappy with the lack of new maps introduced to the game. Outback was the last map that was brought to the game over three years ago. But finally, that streak is now ending, as Ubisoft is releasing the new Emerald Plains tonight on all platforms.
The Y7S1.2 mid-season patch is bringing the new map, alongside a plethora of balancing changes. The Siege devs even planned to remove Smoke’s toxic gas immunity with this patch; however, they later reversed the decision after receiving strong feedback against it from the community.
The Y7S1.2 Patch will be deployed at 13:00 UTC for PC, which includes Steam, Ubisoft Connect, Stadia, and Amazon Luna. For Xbox and Playstation users, the update will drop at 14:00 and 15:00 UTC respectively. The servers will go down for an hour for the patch to be deployed.
