Rainbow Six Siege‘s Year 7 seasonal reveal is just around the corner, and Ubisoft has already started to tease about the new operator.

The first official glimpse of the new operator, shared by Ubisoft, shows us a person in a purple suit, holding a Kunai, which is a Japanese knife.

“A blade can sever and stick and scar”. “A knife can cut or crease or create. Don’t the simplest tools have the most imaginative uses?” – the caption states.

The teaser matches with the earlier leaks of the operator, which gave us an idea that the new operator gadget would work as a barrier to Attackers and even deal damage. The leak also confirmed that the new operator would be called “Azami”, but take all this information with a grain of salt.

Ubisoft also teased in a new post, stating “Our newest operator will be a true game changer.” This has got the entire Siege community hyped up for the new season, as there might be a huge change to the current meta.

Alongside, the new operator, Rainbow Six Siege’s Year 7 is set to bring Goyo to rework, new map and reworks of existing maps, and some exciting balancing changes. So make sure to tune in live on February 19th at 4:30 PM CET for the Y7S1 season reveal panel. The Year 7 Roadmap panel will be streamed live before the Grand Finals of Six Invitational 2022 on Feb. 20th at 5:00 PM CET.
