Raft starts you on a small raft which you can keep expanding and improving. One of the improvements for your Raft is the Engine. Here is how you can build Engine Controls for your Raft.

Raft is a survival crafting game you can play alone or with friends. Players start on a raft and try to reach civilization after their plane crashes. You get to use your hook to pull materials from the ocean to build different items and aid your journey to civilization.

Players begin on a small raft at the start, but it doesn’t take long until you can expand your Raft and start to make it like a boat. You can build an Engine and Engine Controls as you research new items and technology.

Engine turns your small Raft into a moderate-speed boat. So this is an excellent item to have. It makes sure you are not just going with the current. You can choose the way you want to go with an Engine. So here is how you can build an Engine Controls.

Building Engine Controls in Raft

An Engine Controls in Raft can be built after you have found its blueprint. The Engine Controls blueprint can be found on the Mayor’s Chest at Caravan Island. To construct the Engine Controls, you will need the following items:

  • 6x Scarps
  • 6x Titanium Ingot
  • 2x Bolts
  • 1x Circuit Board

Engine controls is a very helpful item in the game. It can turn the Engine on and off. This way, when you want to remain stationary, you can do that without burning fuel. They also have a direction controlling lever. It decides whether the boat will go forward or reverse. So the Engine Controls add a lot of freedom of use with the Engine.
