PRX d4v41’s VALORANT Career Started in 2021
d4v41’s connection with Paper Rex predates its VALORANT success. He played for the organization in Counter-Strike before joining its switch to VALORANT in February 2021. That move became the beginning of a long run competing against the world’s best teams.
International breakthroughs soon followed. Paper Rex reached the Masters Copenhagen grand final in 2022, finishing second to FunPlus Phoenix. In 2023, PRX reached the VALORANT Champions final, where Evil Geniuses took the title. d4v41 was part of both campaigns.
Those results helped establish PRX as a regular contender. The team added the VCT Pacific Stage 1 championship in 2024, while d4v41 continued building a résumé that stretched from regional titles to deep international runs.
Paper Rex’s 2025 Finals Run Ended With the Masters Toronto Trophy
The biggest payoff came at Masters Toronto 2025, where Paper Rex finally converted an international grand-final appearance into a championship.
PRX swept G2 Esports, Sentinels, and Wolves Esports 2–0 in successive playoff matches to reach the final. They then defeated Fnatic 3–1 to secure the organization’s first global VCT title. For d4v41, it was the trophy-winning finish to a journey that had already included two international runner-up results.
Paper Rex also won VCT Pacific Stage 2 in 2025 and finished fourth at Champions Paris. Their international championship final that season came in Toronto, while their Champions grand-final appearance was in 2023.
What Comes Next for d4v41?
d4v41 continued adding to his career achievements in 2026, with runner-up finishes at Masters Santiago and Masters London, plus another Pacific Stage 1 title. He now enters discussions with potential teams carrying years of experience at VALORANT’s highest level.
A move would close a lengthy chapter with Paper Rex. As of writing, his announcement confirms that he is exploring opportunities as his contract approaches its end, with his next team still to be revealed.
