Riot Games finally reveals the new 2020 Legendary tier skin for Katarina releasing in patch 10.25.
Previously there was Battle Academia skin line where champions go to the school that cultivates the next generation of superheroes. However, this year League of Legends is getting an all-female Battle Queen skin line featuring new skins for Rell, Janna, Katarina, Qiyana, and Diana.
While Diana is getting the Prestige Edition skin, Katarina is getting her first-ever Legendary skin in League of Legends. After the official reveal a lot of League players are saying that the Battle Queen Katarina is the best Katarina skin and arguably the best Legendary skin in League of Legends.

Here’s the bio of the Battle Queen Katarina skin: “In a bid to solidify Schema’s hold over its regional alliances, Katarina has positioned herself to take the crown at this year’s Grand Tournament, and plans to subdue anyone or anything that seeks to stand in her way!”
According to Riot Sirhaian, Katarina is going to have a total of 6 blades in her Legendary skin. The first blade is always the same, as well as the very last one, and the ones in-between are randomized.
Daggers/Blades will be unlocked by takedowns and can be swapped upon unlocking by using the CTRL+5 function. Each time Katarina gets three takedowns, the new weapon will be swapped too.
With the new Battle Queen Katarina skin, Katarina now has 13 skins in League of Legends.
All the Battle Queen skins along with the Legendary Katarina skin are expected to go live on patch 10.25.
