Steven can be considered as a supporting character. And note down, he is one of the best supporting characters you will ever come across. His speciality is in his Bubble Shield. Well, that actually pretty much the main source of his support.

Best Skill Moves of Steven Universe in MultiVersus


CHARGE a forward spiky bubble punch—Applies ROSE’S GAZE.
CHARGE a gem explosion PROJECTILE. CHARGING increases the size of the explosion.
A COMBO of bubble punches.
Steven projects a shield that REFLECTS and bounces him back on hit.
CHARGE a spiky bubble uppercut.
Steven does a bubble clap overhead.
CHARGE a gem barrier that knocks away nearby enemies, BREAKS ARMOR, and destroys PROJECTILES.
Steven does a bubble slam downward.


Steven sends out a tether PROJECTILE. After a few seconds, it hits enemies and applies ROSE’S GAZE. The tether can attach to allies. Knockback enemies with ROSE’S GAZE multiple times to put them in BUBBLED, DISABLING them. Hit BUBBLED allies to break them out of the bubble. COOLDOWN applies.
Steven CHARGES and fires a shield wall PROJECTILE, blocking enemies. If the shield passes an ally, it will grant them brief ARMOR. On COOLDOWN, Steven will do a forward dash kick.
Steven holds his shield overhead and dashes upward, leaving a PLATFORM behind for allies. Steven can only create 1 PLATFORM at a time.
Steven plants a watermelon, creating an area that will HEAL allies over time. The watermelon then explodes into a Watermelon Steven that will assist Steven’s allies as a fighter. COOLDOWN applies.
Steven dives down, surfing on his shield. He bounces up if he hits an enemy while he is in the air, allowing him to combo into a dive kick. After landing, he slides to the ground.


Unbreakable Bonds: Steven can create a bubble around himself after dodging and using his ally as armor. This bubble can absorb three hits. However, the durability is shared between Steven and ally. Steven’s bubble has a collision that will stop enemies from moving through it.

Green Thumb

Take Steven to Mastery Level 10 to unlock this signature perk.

Watermelon Steven grows larger and deals more damage the longer he is alive.

Ice to Beat You!

Take Steven to Mastery Level 11 to unlock this offensive perk.

Your mates’ projectile deals with one stack of ice debuff if they knock enemies back. However, for Stacked, the projectile will deal two stacks of ice debuff.

Up, Up, and A-Slay

Take Steven to Mastery Level 13 to unlock this offensive perk.

It was named Vertical Damage Boost initially. Pretty dull name, I would say. So, yeah, the catchphrase does play a vital role.

This perk can increase your team’s overall damage by 5%. Your attacks will knock your foes upward. In Stacked, the damage increases by 10%.

Slippery Customer

Steven Universe can unlock this defensive perk by reaching Mastery Level 7

Steven’s team will have a 10% increase in the dodge invulnerability window. And for Stacked, the invulnerability window increases by 10%.
