How the Shuriken Works in MW2 and Warzone 2.0
The Shuriken is a lethal equipment that functions like a throwing knife. Players can project the Shuriken at their opponents from any range, and it can insta-down or eliminate players. Throwing projectiles like throwing knives and Shuriken require accuracy for their intended purpose.
Currently, the Shuriken is only available on Ashika Island. Players are not allowed to add this lethal to their custom loadouts in MW2 and Warzone 2.0. However, the Shuriken is available in most caches, especially the blue ones.
Shuriken Release Date
The Shuriken will be available for general use with the start of Season 3. The devs have stated that they have no plans to add the Shuriken in-game before the end of Season 2. The expected date for Season 3 is mid-April. We’ll be sure to update the release date as soon as more information about the Shuriken is released in the Season 3 blogpost.
