Popular Twitch streamer couple Mizkif and Maya have decided to break up.
Maya Higa is an American Twitch streamer, conservationist, and wildlife rehabilitator. She is the founder of a non-profit exotic animal sanctuary and virtual education center called Alveus Sanctuary. Back in 2019 she started dating another popular Twitch Streamer Matthew Rinaudo or more commonly known as Mizkif.
Since then the two have been together but a recent announcement left their fans astonished as Mizkif and Maya have decided to break up their relationship. In a recent Tweet, Mizkif attached a Twitlonger statement announcing everyone of this news.

In the Twitlonger document, Mizkif and Maya announced their desire to break up with each other. Mizkif explains that there was no incident, event, or drama that lead to this decision. The decision to break up was mutual.
“We want you guys to know that Maya and I have decided to break up. We both want to be very clear that there was no event, no cheating, no drama that led to this decision. We mutually decided that this is what’s best for both of us in our current lives.”
The Tweetlonger also explains that Mizkif and Maya are going to take a few weeks off from streaming. They need this to take process the things that are happening and take care of themselves.
“We both care about each other so much and are still friends. We’re supporting each other through this and we ask that you all do the same for us both. We’re going to take a couple weeks off of streaming to process and to take care of ourselves.”
Mizkif then thanked his and Maya’s followers and fans for the support these past two years and ended the statement. He also mentioned that these past two years were some of the best years of their lives.
“Thank you for supporting us through these past two years. We can both say that they’ve been some of the best years of our lives and we’re super grateful. See you in a few weeks.”
