Metaphor: ReFantazio borrows a lot from the Persona series, made by the same developers. In fact, the inspiration is teeming throughout the game from the art style to the combat to the various activities you can do in between dungeon crawling and main story events.
There are a wide variety of things to do around the Kingdom of Euchronia, and these are not just filler either. Each activity contributes towards progression in the form of Virtue Ranks, Bond points, Popularity, Reeves, etc.
Moreover, there is a limited amount of time for you to complete these activities. Thus, it’s inevitable that you’ll face some tradeoffs throughout your playthrough, whether it’s choosing between two characters’ Bonds or between two or more Virtue Ranks.
At night, you can increase your Tolerance by helping Fabienne cook during the Help the Hushed Honey Bee Inn side quest. During your cooking, you’ll need to make some choices, which will determine how much Tolerance you gain.

Help the Hushed Honey Bee Quest
To start this quest, you’ll need to speak to the Young Nida Man on Sunlumeo Street on the Grand Trad. After accepting the quest, go to the Hushed Honeybee at Night to help Fabienne cook. Since this quest can only be done at night, you are free to do other activities during the day.
Moreover, you’ll have to complete this quest by 6/19.
