How many bosses do you have to fight through to finally defeat Morden in Metal Slug Tactics?
Metal Slug Tactics combines turn-based isometric gameplay with rogue-lite mechanics. Thus, the game offers a never-ending cycle of challenging and fun gameplay on different maps with different enemy types, including unique boss fights that test your strategic thinking.

List of Metal Slug Tactics Bosses and Enemies
There are 5 types of enemies in the game, with 8 bosses. Among the bosses, 4 of them are War Machines and 4 are Generals. War Machines are giant weaponized machines, that we fight in the OG Metal Slug games as bosses.
On the other hand, the Generals are the human bosses. They do not always appear and only appear when players follow a specific path while doing runs. The specific paths are:
- Paqar – Argun Palm Desert -> Herkhanet Tombs -> Soursop Jungle
- Abbas – Herkhanet Tombs -> Soursop Jungle -> Argun Palm Desert
- Allen O’Neill – Soursop Jungle -> Argun Palm Desert -> Herkhanet Tombs
Common Enemies:
- Rebel Infantry – The regular soldier enemies.
- Arabian Infantry – The enemies in the desert-based maps. Especially seen in Metal Slug 2/X.
- Nop-03 Sarubia – The tall tank enemies that shoot rolling ball-shaped bombs.
- Mummy – The slow but deadly mummy enemies.
- Dog Mummy
- Natives – The jungle tribesmen enemies.
Bosses:
- Desert Tower – The Turret Fort sub-boss from Metal Slug 2/X
- Allen O’Neil – The large recurring soldier that wields a machine gun. Appears as a mini-boss in multiple Metal Slug games.
- Aeshi Nero – The giant snake-shaped excavating machine boss that appears in Metal Slug 2’s mummy level.
- Paqar – Sage-like leader of the Natives.
- Dragon Nosuke – The four-legged tank boss that appears on the 3rd stage of Metal Slug 2 and X.
- Abul Abbas – The fat arab leader from the 2nd stage of Metal Slug 2 and X.
- Big Shiee – The giant battleship from the 4th stage of Metal Slug 2 and X.
- Jupiter King – The robot boss from Metal Slug 3. It is also the final boss in Metal Slug Tactics and is operated by General Morden.
