During TennoLive on July 11, Digital Extremes pulled the curtain back on its newest Warframe, Brysko, as part of the big Tau System showcase. Tau has been teased for a while now, with DE leaning into the idea that the System is finally in sight and that old wounds are not so easily healed. Brysko slotted right into that reveal block alongside a batch of fresh Tau-themed gear, so this frame is clearly meant to ride the next major content wave rather than arrive as a random one-off.

The reveal was hosted by Corey van den Hoogenband and featured guests including Kat Kingsley, Ryan Mole, Ben Starr, and Renรฉ Zagger, which gave the whole segment a bit of star power on stage.

Digital Extremes Reveals Brysko at TennoCon 2026

The community has already started calling Brysko Warframe’s first proper detective frame, and honestly, the vibe fits perfectly. The design language leans hard into a gritty, investigator-on-the-case look, all noir attitude wrapped around that signature Warframe silhouette. If you have ever wanted to play a frame that feels like it kicks down doors and asks questions later, this is shaping up to be exactly that.

Digital Extremes summed up the fantasy pretty bluntly in its official teaser, saying Brysko is the one you want beside you for knockouts and knuckledusters. So while the detective branding is grabbing headlines, the core loop looks like a brawler at heart. Think fists, close-range punishment, and the kind of frame that solves problems with its knuckles instead of a rifle. A detective who does his own dirty work, basically.

Brysko’s Design

The frame itself looks fantastic in the reveal shots, sporting a sleek gold and copper build with glowing blue energy channels running across the chest and back. It carries that regal Orokin flavor a lot of players love, but with sharper, more predatory lines around the head and shoulders. Brysko was modeled by Filipe Bento, whose work here gives the frame a real sense of menace paired with elegance.

Brysko Abilities and Release Date

Now for the part everyone wants, and the part DE stayed quiet on. Full ability breakdowns were not detailed during the reveal, so anything you see floating around about Brysko’s exact kit is speculation for now. Given the knuckle-brawler framing and the detective identity, it is fair to expect a mix of melee-focused offense and some form of tracking or investigation mechanic, but nothing is confirmed yet.

There is also no locked release date, as of writing. Brysko is riding the Tau update wave, so expect more concrete details, ability names, and a launch window to surface as DE ramps up its next content drop.

Brysko is one of those reveals that instantly gets the community theorycrafting. A punchy, noir-flavored detective frame is a fresh direction for Warframe, and if the abilities live up to the aesthetic, this could easily become a fan favorite.
