How to repair tools in Lego Fortnite
At first, you will need to make sure you have a small chest in your inventory. If not, prepare one in your Lumber Mill using 6 planks. Now take your item/weapon, which is in low health, and place it in the chest storage. Now get out of the chest and close it.
After closing it, start punching the chest until you destroy it. After you have destroyed the chest, it will drop all the resources and the items inside it. Collect all the resources and items. You will see that the damaged item/weapon you placed inside the chest has returned to its original full health form. By following this process, you can restore any of your useful items or weapons.
Update: Sadly, this glitch seems to have been patched out by the publishers after it came to their attention. So, this trick of repairing tools no longer works.
